Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation
The goal of the Elderly Committee is for individuals to feel independent at home and for us to offer safe and secure care and support.
To achieve these goals, we work based on four strategies: prevention, collaboration, digitalization, and competence supply. These strategies permeate the development work within elderly care to address the challenges we face. The elderly care unit consists of secretariat and quality functions. The unit has an overarching responsibility to coordinate the administration's work and processes. We carry out the unit's mission with various areas of expertise in collaboration and cooperation based on a good knowledge of operations with the citizen in focus. The unit is led by a quality manager and a secretariat manager. This role is subordinate to the quality manager along with seven other quality functions.

Job Responsibilities
As the medical responsible for rehabilitation, you have an overarching responsibility for quality and patient safety in the municipal healthcare, directed towards the services that have a care provider responsibility according to the Health and Medical Services Act. Within the elderly care administration, this applies to care and nursing homes and home healthcare, and within disability care, the assignment includes special accommodations and daily activities.
You will, together with the medical management and in collaboration with staff in the operations, be responsible for the systematic and ongoing development of quality in the operations. The assignment includes work with deviations, risk and incident analyses, reporting according to Lex Maria, safe handling of aids, and documentation. You have a key role in internal and external collaboration and are expected to provide expert guidance to staff, managers, and politicians.
Collegial cooperation occurs with several within the unit, including the medical responsible nurse (MAS), social responsible coordinator (SAS), and development strategist. Collaboration outside the unit occurs with operational managers and directors as well as with the region and other authorities. Collaboration is therefore a key word!
About You
Of course, you are interested in, knowledgeable about, and driven in development issues and evidence-based care, as well as having an interest in developing the municipality's patient safety work. In the assignment, you need to be receptive to the various needs present in the operations and have a solution-focused approach. You see collaboration and cooperation as a natural part of the work. Furthermore, the assignment requires a good ability to express oneself both verbally and in writing, and to adapt your communication according to the recipient and situation. We also want you to have a good ability to make difficult decisions, plan your work, and work systematically, independently, and structured.
We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Requirements
- Physiotherapist or occupational therapist degree
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation
- Experience working as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
- Driver's license (B)
Meritorious
- Experience working as MAR
- Experience working at a unit or equivalent
- Experience working with coordination
